All of our team have a wealth of experience and history in handling horses. We know that it’s not just about having top class drivers; it’s about having the support of people who are used to managing horses on a daily basis too.
Nigel is the head of the Team and has ridden all his life. As a young man he competed at National Level in Tetrathlon. He took over Armstrong Richardson in the late 1990s. He added to his business portfolio with C & C in 2005 and then started AR Fuels in 2007
Charlie passed her HGV at 18 and has held her operators license for C&C and Armstrong Richardson for 12 years. She has grown up surrounded by horses and has ridden as an amateur on the flat
Emily has ridden and been around horses her whole life. Previously an international show groom/ head girl up to 5* World Cup level Show jumping. 4* Eventing groom experience. Passed her HGV at the age of 18 and has experience transporting horses in the UK, Europe and USA.
Finian is the go to guy at the Sales! Born in County Galway - Finian O'Toole rode 53 winners and spent four years with trainer, Micky Hammond, who supplied 36 of those winners. Finian's best day in the saddle was when landing a treble at Sedgefield on February 25th 2016. He won all three chases on the card.
Chloe has always had a passion for horses and enjoys riding and jumping her TB mare. As well as working in the Office for C & C she also works closely with sister company Millbry Hill Stud.
Sophie has over 30 years experience with horses. Having previously ran her own Livery yard, brought on young horses to sell. She also has a wealth of experience in Office work having previously worked as a PA and a Legal Secretary as well as owning and running her own Award Winning Online Business. She has held her HGV licence since 21 years old.
Alicky has a wealth of experience having worked in racing for 12 years and then 4 years as a Equine Veterinary Nurse. She has worked for C & C as a Driver for 7 years alongside riding out for Local Trainers.
Mark has been involved with racing his whole life. He has served his time with Grand National Winning Trainer, Neville Crump for 10 years as well as many other top names. Most recently helping John Weymes doing breakers for Karl Burke. He has been head lad and a travelling head lad whilst in racing. When not driving he likes to help with the stalls for Racetech.
Our longest serving member of staff. Miles attended the Olympics in 1970’s with showjumper Graham Fletcher. He is a valued member of the team, making sure all the wagons are ready to go out on their next trip and are in tip top condition. Miles has driven horses Internationally all his life.
A very successful Assistant Jump Trainer from 2004 to 2017, in North Yorkshire. Proud Father of James Reveley, French Champion Jump Jockey.
Enjoys country sports and supporting his partners equestrian pursuits.
Worked in racing circuit since finishing full time education and has ridden over 100 winners over National Hunt fences.
Chris joined the Submarine Service and fought in the Falklands in 1982 where he was part of a Submarine Crew which patrolled for 112 days - the longest and furthest patrol in a diesel submarine. In 2000 he joined the Cleveland Police Mounted section. He represented the force at the Queen's Golden Jubilee and rode in front of the Queen. As a Mounted Officer he has attended numerous football matches around the UK . He has trained remount police horses to hand on to other riders.
Level 2 UKCC instructor and a ROR judge. She has always ridden and has great passion for hunting.
Alex has been working with horses for 12 years. From International Show Jumpers, Dressage riders and Polo Players to Stud Yards across the country. Alongside driving, Alex is a fully qualified and insured Veterinary Physiotherapist running her own business.
